I am a Mechanical Engineering student at Western, in the Artificial Intelligence Systems Engineering option. I graduate in May 2028. What draws me is manufacturing, and building systems that make the work faster and more consistent.
I have spent two summers at Bemco Machine Works, a machine shop in Mississauga that makes rolls for steel mills, built to take heat and impact. I started on the machines. By the end of the second term I could take a part from the drawing to the finished piece on my own, on manual lathes and CNC. However, the work I point to first is the quality control system I built for the shop. It enforces the tolerance instead of trusting someone to remember it, and six machinists use it every day now.
That carried into Western's Baja SAE team, where I work on front suspension.
Bemco then asked me to build their website. I took the job, and started Wrench Digital off the back of it, a web design business for small trades companies. It also got me into web development, which led to Atlas, a platform for university students. It is built and running. I haven't launched it publicly yet.
Outside engineering I play piano through the Royal Conservatory, play AAA 22U junior baseball in the summer, produce music, and volunteer with MusicBox and Child Haven International.
I am looking for a four month engineering co-op for Summer 2027.

Mechanical Engineering With Option In Artificial Intelligence Systems Engineering, awards, and relevant coursework.

CAD and mechanical design, machining and dimensional inspection, and the languages and cloud tools I build software on.

Two summers at Bemco Machine Works, front suspension on Western's Baja SAE car, and starting Wrench Digital.

Course projects and things I built on my own. Actuator design, a hail measurement device tested over 150 drops, and two platforms I wrote end to end.

Student government at Meadowvale, SHAD, Toastmasters, MusicBox, and twelve years with Child Haven International.

Two versions, one mechanical and one software. Read either one here or download the PDF.
